Food Foundry in Sekyen 17

Sedap lah. Went there after church with Alicia and Lynette. We had Fetucinne Vongole, Angel Hair Marinara, Green Curry Mussels, Garden Salad, and a Club Sandwich. All in no particular order for whom ate what lah...

They're also having young adults doing some really artsy fartsy stuff like poetry reading, and singing your own compositions, stand-up comedy etc.

Usually, if I don't like a particular eatery, I tend to bitch about it. But for this one, let's just say that I'll go back there again....

Fourplay Concert

Went to the Fourplay Concert on the 16/8. Got help with tix from Angela and Johann. Cheers!

What can I say lh..... FUAH!!!!
Excellent chemistry!!!!
Humility of each band member was key. They let the other band members get the limelight and in return, they shine more! Super tight playing!! If only I could falcetto scat like Nathan...

Band members:
Bob James (keyboards, piano)
Larry Carlton (guitars)
Harvey Mason (drums)
Nathan East (bass)

Stevie really enjoyed too. Hmmm... who else were there? Thomas, Jon Koo, Pastor Adam, Simon, a few more youth/yg adults.

It seems to me that the GTPJ worship team may have a new benchmark of technical excellence to hit! With His grace lah, of course.

The 2 pics are from the souvenir booklet. RM5 one! So thin.... But for Fourplay, worth it lah. The songs are more-or-less half old, half new (in my own chronological definition). Took the pics with my new Nokia N73. 3.2 megapixels. Good or not, we'll see lah....

Gonna use it to update my blog more often too. More pics to see. More HUMAN touch....

My Beloved Cell Group

Taken in Oct last year in Ancasa PD. Guess which is me...[snigger!]

change is constant!

So much has gone by....

Lynette, my youngest sis is now living with me, studying in Sunway College. CNY came and went with parents and sisters going to Hainan Island for holiday. Charlotte got a darn Dopod 838! Bulky or not?

God has been talking to me A LOT about fruitfulness and abiding in Him. The Bible talks heaps on the analogy of fruits. We've been called to be fruitful in ALL things that God has directed for us to do. Work, talents and skills..... and even family and relationships! What is God asking of me.... dunno lah. But I suppose, don't seek God merely for directions and His will but....SEEK GOD! All other things will be added unto you....

Jesus is the vine, we are the branches. The fruits will be produced at the branches but the nutrients come from the vine. Abiding in Jesus is my goal. What my hands can do for the Lord in the Worship Ministry can only be fruitful with me abiding in Him. What I do to be financially free can only be good for me and my family if I look to Jesus first. I suppose it's a responsibility that we bear as Christians. Totally different worldview altogether. Has it been tough to be a Christian? Most definitely! Don't have to think so much on who I'm accountable to. Has it been worthwhile with all the heartaches that come? I have tasted of the fruit of God's goodness..... and it is VERY GOOD! Is it scary to be a Jesus-loving person? Initially.... but not anymore. :)

Bass on!
